On a beach, New Zealand, some years ago!

I am a lawyer by day. But have had a life-long interest in the arts - having served as Cathedral Organist in Townsville, North Queensland and as a Director of the Australian Festival of Chambers Music. Now, my first love is landscape photography but has extended to cycling photography for various charitable groups, principally Mater Smiling for Smiddy which raises money for cancer research. My ongoing teachers are Jackie Ranken and Mike Langford of Creative Photography Workshops, New Zealand with whom I like to travel to far away places such as Japan and India. I use the Canon DSLR 5DIV and the R5, and sometimes a Fuji XT-3 for travel purposes. I have been experimenting with film - principally the Leica R8 and Leica M6 - and sometimes dabble in larger format photography with the Mamiya C330. I also use a Mavic 2 Pro and a Mavic Mini Pro 3
